F.C. Joyce was presented this banner honoring the hard work and dedication of its students, staff, and families! Last year's test scores revealed that ELA scores went up by 5.8% and API went up by 16 points! Great job everyone and congratulations!!
 

Students will be taking the California Standards Tests over the next two weeks, 4/23-5/4. Please check the link below to find information about the tests and see sample test questions.

TIPS FOR THE MORNING OF THE TEST:

We have three overall expectations at F. C. Joyce which are: be safe, be respectful, and be responsible.  We work hard everyday to help students use these skills to make our school a safe place for learning. We thank parents in advance for helping to reinforce these three ideals in your home so that they may carry over at school and assist with learning. The staff at F. C. Joyce look forward to creating a wonderful and positive school experience for all students. Maintaining high expectations for learning and for positive choices will help us all succeed!

Once a month on Family Fridays parents are invited to come and read with their children in the classroom.

ATTEND-A-DANCE

Next Attend-A-Dance - Wed., April 18th!

Every month FC Joyce will be hosting an Attend-A-Dance Party where there will be music and fun games for students with perfect attendance for the month!  Students have perfect attendance when they are in class every day at 8:15 and stay until 2:50.  That means NO lates, tardies, absences, or early dismissals FOR ANY REASON!  If something out of your control happens and you miss school, everyone will have a chance to start new each month to earn their way to the next Attend-A-Dance.
